THE PILGRIMAGE EXPERIENCE

“Finding Your Feet On The Camino” helps you literally, spiritually and figuratively find your feet on the Camino. It is ideal for those who would like help to begin the Camino and want to finish it on their own. Our guide, Laura, will be with you for the first 10 days of your Camino, with 3 different stages of guidance.

For the first five days, Laura will pre-book all of the accommodations, organize baggage transfer, and plan each day’s distance of walking. The next two days, Laura will show you how to consider and plan the walking distance and the accommodation for the next day, and she will work with you in arranging your baggage transfer. For the last three days she is with you, you will make all the decisions and arrangements for the next day’s walk/accommodations/baggage transfer and she will be available for help or advice as you may need. She will also implement spiritual reflection questions, conversations and the option for spiritual direction sessions in the preparation and walking stages of your pilgrimage. By the end of her time with you, you will be skilled and more comfortable making daily decisions of walking distances and all the arrangements needed, as well as developing your own pattern for spiritual awareness and reflection. Laura will remain available by text or call if you have questions, need advice or encouragement as you continue your Camino on your own. 

Ultreia Ministry provides a packing list, a suggested training schedule, three group zoom sessions for planning and preparation, and one-on-one support as requested.
